Jussi Rautiainen has stepped down as CEO of rock tools major Robit PLC after overseeing 11 years of successful growth. On January 2 2016 he began a new role “focusing on planning and execution of Robit PLC’s future structural growth.” Rautiainen states that after a long period of a strong growth, he wanted to take an initiative to the job rotation. As a listed company Robit Plc can now direct itself to a significant growth also structurally.The new CEO is Mikko Mattila, who has already had a 15 year career at Robit. He has been responsible for the take-over and integration of the South Korean operation and lately has headed up the Finnish manufacturing company and acted as a Group Executive VP. Mattila also has over 10 years of experience in international sales management in the company.Chairman Harri Sjöholm thanked Rautiainen “for the excellent managing of the company and for the exceptional successful growth.” During Rautiainen’s period in charge the company’s net sales grew seven fold and expanded Robit from a local actor in the rock tools market to an international one. Sjöholm also wished the best possible success to new CEO Mattila in his new tasks.
