first_imgThe lifeless body of a 23-year-old former estate worker was on Monday morning discovered floating in a trench at Stewartville, West Coast Demerara.Dead: Sunil MangraThe dead man has been identified as Sunil Mangra, of Lot 176 Leonora, West Coast Demerara.According to information received, the body was found about 06:30h, and it is suspected that the young man might have drowned.Police stated that there were no marks of violence about the body when it was discovered. The now dead man had last been seen at his mother’s home on Saturday.He was reportedly described as an alcoholic. A post-mortem is expected to be performed on Wednesday to determine the cause of death.last_img
