College Football Fan With Team’s Logo Tattooed On His Throat Tried To Fight Cops After Rolling Minivan

That is where the trouble started for Hefner.When police arrived, the Oregon football fan threatened them with a gun. He wound up arrested on weapons and drug charges.Hefner’s mugshot, via The Oregonian:Oregon man sporting full-throated Ducks tattoo rolls minivan, fights deputies, cops say https://t.co/fEFK1CFoQx pic.twitter.com/8DGrRsSyYO— The Oregonian (@Oregonian) October 22, 2018More on the standoff, from the paper’s report:A deputy arrived at the scene of the crash and found him agitated and bleeding from his nose and mouth, according to the probable cause affidavit.Hefner, who also has a crude outline of the state of Oregon tattooed on his right cheekbone, later ducked into his van and returned with a stainless steel revolver, prompting a brief standoff with the deputy, authorities said.That ended with Hefner on the ground as the deputy pressed his boot against the suspect’s skull and threatened to shoot him if he moved, court records show.The authorities found that the gun that Hefner brandished was stolen months ago. He was also in possession of 12 grams of methamphetamine, per the report.Along with the weapons and drug charges, he faces counts of reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, and resisting arrest.[The Oregonian]last_img
